Back from NY part 2

More things to do :
Visit one of NY's most beloved and famous bakeries: "Magnolia" (featured on sex and the city), famous for their cupcakes. They are so good that there's allways a line down the block to get in (well worth waiting). They even limit cupcake purchase to 12 per customer because of their popularity !

Go to central park and enjoy a walk or go ice-skating. Maybe, if you're lucky, you'll get to see some hiphop dancers showing off their grooves and moves :

Still hungry ? Visit "Eataly" ( at 200 fifth Avenue). This Italian food emporium with branches all over Italy,  offers everything an Italian foodlover could want in meat, cheese, fish, wine, bakery, delicatessen, with other words the greatest of Italian products all in one spot. Must stop food destination in NY.

Wanna lounge ?
We stayed at the meatpacking district boutique "Hotel Gansevoort" with a 45-foot long rooftop pool (with underwaterlights and music) , so no waiting line for us to get to their lounge. Their hip "Plunge" rooftop lounge provides you spectacular views of the big apple. Beware: expensive, outrageously priced cocktails ( in plastic cups, no joke !), luckily we had a sponsor ! We bumped into this sweet Belgian guy Etienne, whom organises parties with guest-DJ's from around the world on wednesdayevening. Plunge was filled with trendy people, an interesting crowd, hoping to see and be seen. We had a blast : booz and great music.  Drinks twice as pricey, but twice as strong ?? Because the morning after .....

"That's another reason I love NY, just like that, it can go from bad to cute " (SJP) xoxo
