Going Belgian

I don't believe in head-to-toe trends, you should focus on what you love and be individual. I love Belgian designers for that reason. And I am not alone.  Spotted: stars, models, fashion editors, all wearing Belgian fashion brands. Belgian designers are gaining more and more influence.

Made in Belgium: BAOBAB

One of the joys of autumn is turning down the lights and light up some scented candles. My personal number one is Belgian brand "Baobab". Discover the wonderful tones of these decorative, handmade candles (the ideal gift for christmas) presented in transparent, colored glass or stainless steel vases.  Let your house smell like exotic Zanzibar spices, Orange river, Masaai spirit or sweet Madagascar vanilla..... on top of the amazing fragrances you can recycle the fabulous glass jars. You can find the whole collection in their beautiful flagship store which opened in Brussels (Zavelstraat 15, 1000 Brussels) last week.
Go and discover their special edition for christmas like the furry candles "Rudolph, Blitzen and Prancer".

In pursuit of vintage

The ultimate place to be in Antwerp right now (14-15-16 nov) is "Felixpakhuis" (Godefriduskaai) at the fashion event of "LaBeLLoV", where you can browse through high quality luxury brands of clothing, furniture, jewels .......a treasure island of timeless vintage, celebrating the style and charm of bygone days.
I saw beautifull ornaments, flamboyant dresses, chic jewellery, playfull shoes, amazing furniture .....

Some Yves Saint Laurent anyone ?
Or some Balenciaga ?
