Santa is coming to town

Santa is coming to town next week and I am dreaming about the spring/summercollections. No shimmer and glimmer in sheer blouses and skim skirts for me right now !

I visited the pressrelease of River Island womenswear spring/summer 2011 collection on wednesday ( with fantastic Dj's by the way),  organised by PR company  "Oona"and that made me forget  about the "après ski" and the party season.
Please let me swap my reindeer knits and shearling for the dazzling silk tops, maxi skirts, hareem trousers , jungle pants, broderie anglaise....... god we can't wait till it hit the stores in february ...

Beauty of colours

I just adore these fab pictures from "Scanlan and Theodore", Australian chicest fashion brand ( Yes, mister J , this one is for u) , amazing lookbook for their spring/summer 2011 collection with model Erin Wasson ! Love the rough-smooth beauty of the colours in the photos form Nan Goldin.

From one old building in NY to another old building in Antwerp, where I visited "IN HABIT", exhibit from Masterstudents at Sint-Lucas and the Royal Academy of Arts. Except for the cold and the parkingticket from the police, it was a nice experience, interesting to witness the visual language and imagination of each student, lots of creative work .....

At NY fashion week designers were looking for models with a sexy gappy smile (think prominent and intriguing holes ....)

Character faces are hot and gap teeth are the must have orthodontic trait-du-jour, so forget braces, save your money, you need a gap between your front teeth, it's edgy and sexy !

No one does the New York look like Olivia Palermo.  Fantastic picture from fashion photographer Tesh in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY, by the way ....

Olivia is the kinda girl that you love or hate.  But everytime I see her, I ask myself, how do some people manage to get it so right ?  You don't want to take her clothes of, you just want to put them on.  Her garments transform her into this stylish creature somehow more exciting than the rest of us.

Her undeniable sense of style even reflects in her NY Tribeca appartement  ( featured in New york post's page six and Gotham magazine)
