THAT FRESH SILK BOMBER

Looking for the coolest transitional jacket right now ? Easy, just go for a fresh silk bomber, where practicality and style meet in one single piece.
I fell in love with this green Gucci bomber when I spotted it on the runway. Sadly enough it was sold out immediately when it hit the stores.
Same story for the Dries Van Noten one..

Luckily you'll find lots of cheaper versions which look amazing as well, like Olivia Palermo in this reversible Topshop bomber .

With bold and beautiful Asian-inspired art or floral embroidery, these pieces feel extra special, like something unearthed at your favourite vintage store.  Even better, they provide a perfect layer to slip under your winter coat and will make a statement-worthy spring jacket once the weather warms. Plus, you need little else to make your whole outfit.

Effortlessly cool, the bomber jacket looks right with jeans and dresses alike. The more dressier versions of the bomber jacket, like a printed one as featured in this street style looks, are great for giving your outfit that little extra …

GOING MAD FOR METALLIC

Normally I’m not really a huge fan of anything shiny but when I discovered these silver sandals a few seasons ago at Dries Van Noten, I was sold. Up till now they are still my favourite ones cause they can be worn subtle or flashy.

Absolutely loved these colorfull ones from Fratelli Rosetti when I discovered them at the press days last season.

Now you see metallic heels everywhere. What’s great about these mirrored splash heels are the diverse kinds that are availableLove the metallic wedges, and the pink and silver ones are so interesting...  I’ll have to rock a new pair for this season.

Hm..what about this golden, sparkly beauty from N°21 for next FW 16/17 shown at the showroom in Paris ? So many options, so many choices ....

DRIES VAN NOTEN'S MIDSUMMER NIGHT

Nothing but admiration for this Spring collection and nothing but admiration for the designer, and not because he's Belgian but because he's a genius and always knows how to surprise his audience.   He is one of a kind, never following any fashion rules. Van Noten's magical "Midsummer Night's dream" setting was simply amazing. Deep colours, ethnic prints, dreamy fabrics, striped organza, combining the seemingly uncombinable, the whole catwalk looked like a painting with the models reposing on the mossy carpet. The perfect poetic finish for this fairytale.
