I NEED SOME RED

Red is so underrated. But now it's time for a change. Red,springtime red, that fiery shade has set streets and catwalks alight and everyone has been sporting it. This is bright, vivacious, Baywatch, loud, in-your-face, look-at-me tomato red. The kind of shade that ignites passions, brightens up your face, starts parties, and leaves its mark.
Gucci girls oozed sex appeal in head to toe red (Remember that famous Beyonce moment?)
And what about the amazing Chloe bow-tipped halter tops and athletic style trousers in red ?
Yes, I'm convinced,I need some red in my closet, right now and not just red shoes or a red bag , but a striking red outfit. So much inspiration surrounding us.

THAT FRESH SILK BOMBER

Looking for the coolest transitional jacket right now ? Easy, just go for a fresh silk bomber, where practicality and style meet in one single piece.
I fell in love with this green Gucci bomber when I spotted it on the runway. Sadly enough it was sold out immediately when it hit the stores.
Same story for the Dries Van Noten one..

Luckily you'll find lots of cheaper versions which look amazing as well, like Olivia Palermo in this reversible Topshop bomber .

With bold and beautiful Asian-inspired art or floral embroidery, these pieces feel extra special, like something unearthed at your favourite vintage store.  Even better, they provide a perfect layer to slip under your winter coat and will make a statement-worthy spring jacket once the weather warms. Plus, you need little else to make your whole outfit.

Effortlessly cool, the bomber jacket looks right with jeans and dresses alike. The more dressier versions of the bomber jacket, like a printed one as featured in this street style looks, are great for giving your outfit that little extra …

GOING MAD FOR METALLIC

Normally I’m not really a huge fan of anything shiny but when I discovered these silver sandals a few seasons ago at Dries Van Noten, I was sold. Up till now they are still my favourite ones cause they can be worn subtle or flashy.

Absolutely loved these colorfull ones from Fratelli Rosetti when I discovered them at the press days last season.

Now you see metallic heels everywhere. What’s great about these mirrored splash heels are the diverse kinds that are availableLove the metallic wedges, and the pink and silver ones are so interesting...  I’ll have to rock a new pair for this season.

Hm..what about this golden, sparkly beauty from N°21 for next FW 16/17 shown at the showroom in Paris ? So many options, so many choices ....
