DRIES VAN NOTEN'S MIDSUMMER NIGHT

Nothing but admiration for this Spring collection and nothing but admiration for the designer, and not because he's Belgian but because he's a genius and always knows how to surprise his audience.   He is one of a kind, never following any fashion rules. Van Noten's magical "Midsummer Night's dream" setting was simply amazing. Deep colours, ethnic prints, dreamy fabrics, striped organza, combining the seemingly uncombinable, the whole catwalk looked like a painting with the models reposing on the mossy carpet. The perfect poetic finish for this fairytale.

I like her for being so outrageous, flamboyant and fun with a lovable sense of selfawareness and humor (wish I could meet her ).

You have to know Belgian female model and jewelery designer, Anouck Lepere, born in Antwerp ( oh, yes we love her even more) ,  32 years old and still rocking the catwalk, known for her playboyshoot and her famous eyebrows ( eyebrowidol for many..., she brought them back in fashion).
She's not only a natural beauty, she's also f...ing smart and supercool. She's intriguing because she's on-glamorous, but still edgy and high fashion !
