INEZ &VINOODH NY APPARTEMENT

Check out the NY loft apartment(at the lower east side)of one of my favourite fashion photographer duos, Inez and Vinoodh, the husband-and-wife duo who moved from Amsterdam to Manhattan (featured in Architectural Digest). They combined adjacent lofts to create this amazing Manhattan residence. Lots of books, lots of wood, it all works harmoniously with touches of color all around their loft.

The famous couple turned their creative efforts to a collaboration with "Tenthousandandthings ", the cult jewellery brand known for its organic-looking designs. Based on a design by Matadin for Inez, a chain strung with a pair of intertwined rings and a tiny star, symbolizing the couple’s love for each other and their 10-year-old son ,the collection features rings, bangles and necklaces.I'm sold ...

Reinvigorate a dull day with a pop of bright colour with a silk skirt for instance, or a classic crisp white shirt. Perfect for a mood boosting lift. 

The white shirt remains one of my most beloved items and the one I usually turn to, but I have to confess that blue suits my skin tone more, so i'm always on the hunt for the perfect blue shirt (or for any perfect shirt).

ANTWERP & OTHER STORIES

Yes, yes, it's a fact. "& Other Stories" (H&M sister) has arrived in Antwerp and we are already addicted. Shoes (lots of them), accessories, clothes, nail polish, makeup, skin care, all at affordable prices.God, how can anyone resist ? 

In case you worry about a to minimalistic touch, .....don't : Some patterns of their high summer collection have been styled by the print-loving fashionista Susie Bubble(Susanna Lau)and as you can see on the pics(shot by street photographer Phil Oh in Milan and Paris)it's all about brightness and happiness and prints on prints.

On top of that good news, Russian designer Vika Gazinskaya (you know, with her impeccable designs,worn by Miroslava Duma or Anya Ziurova but unfortunately incredible high priced) has finally  released a collection of her characteristically feminine dresses and blouses ( with polka dots or drawn stripes)in collaboration with & Other Stories ! Think a youthful vibrant spring summer capsule of affordable fashion, still with her couture design aesthetic. What are you waiting for ?
