IT'S SPRING FOR RAF SIMONS AT DIOR

BELGIAN DESIGNER RAF SIMONS WANTED HIS SHOW "TO BE ABOUT THE VERY IDEA OF SPRING" . IT RESULTED IN AN AMAZING SHOW WITH MODELS APPEARING FROM THE GROUND, STROLLING TROUGH HEDGES WITH GORGEOUS DRESSES AND AIRY FULL SKIRTS THAT BLOSSOMED WITH MULIT-LAYERED FLORAL EMBROIDERIES  AND SILK  PETALS. THE BELGIAN GARDENING FIRM JACQUES WIRTZ SUPPLIED THE PLANTS EAND DESIGN. EVERYWHERE YOU , LOOKED THERE WAS SOMETHING FOR THE EYE ... ALSO THE MAKE-UP ... JUST AWESOME ....WHAT AN  ASTONISHING SHOW IN FASHIONLAND

Made in Belgium: Raf Simons for Dior

Belgian desginer RAF SIMONS for DIOR Spring 2013 ready-to-wear debut was a real hit amongst the fashion elite. Bright colours, beautiful floral prints, tuxedo coat dresses (in a sexy way), even insect inspired looks in silk and tulle, it all looked amazing.  Loved the asymmetrical hemlines that hung over plain black shorts. The make up ? Genious ! Fab ! His sensuous take on minimalism... wow, no reason to be shy anymore...... hope he realises how good he is and this was all just the start ...
