ANTWERP ICONS

Amazing, large format photos are invading in various locations in Antwerp right now. It's all part of the "happy birthday dear academie ! "campaign. The Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp celebrates it's 350th anniversary. The Fashion Department celebrates it's 50th anniversary !

Photographer Ronald Stoops , make-up artist Inge Grognard and fashion designer Dirk Van Saene have interpreted several iconic pieces from the works of Antwerp designers (Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Dirk Van Saene, Walter Van Beirendonck, Marina Yee, Dirk Bikkembergs, Maison Martin Margiela, Christian Wijnants, Veronique Branquinho, Peter Pilotto, Bernhard Willhelm and A.F. Vandevorst) in a new photo shoot. Must see !

MADE IN BELGIUM: MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA

Two more days until the collection of Belgian  Maison Martin Margiela hits the shelves of H&M. This collaboration includes garments for both women and men, showcasing  Marcella's signature aesthetics. (Wish we had such an amazing launch party as in NY...)  I hope there will be not to much queueing up for this collection. So, it really is ok to just stay home and let the real fashionlovers have their day !!! Thank you very much !!!!!!
