THAT MAXI DRESS

This spring is beginning to look a lot like … summer! Finally ! This week we had wonderful sunny weather, so I took the opportunity to wear a beautiful maxi dress.
I absolutely love this item, because it’s so comfortable and easy to style with just a few accessories. Considering the bold print, I added just some bracelets, black sandals, a small purse and of course, sunglasses.
Made of soft, cozy cotton, with a flattering bodice and with a flowing skirt that kisses the floor, the maxi-dress is the best thing to happen to summer fashion. It looks extra-fancy while being deceivingly comfortable.

Queen of the Maxi dress is no longer our dearest  Rachel Zoe. Veronika Heilbrunner was definitely queen of the Maxidress at all the fashionshows lately. She was spotted  at Paris Fashion Week for the Haute Couture- Spring/Summer 2016 in different maxi dresses
Like here in a beautiful Chloe dress.

And outside Chanel ...combined with Converse sneakers !
and outside Schiaparelli .... ...
Shopstyle, Polyvore, Zara, H&M , .. there are so many options to find a perfect maxi right now. Choose one that will make you feel confident and you are ready to make a statement !

MADE IN BELGIUM : INE NEEFS

Say hello to our Belgian beauty and rising star, Ine Neefs.  The blond hair babe with strong cheekbones , wide eyes and nymph like body worked all the favourite runways for the spring shows: including Alexander McQueen, Valentino, Chanel, Giambattista Valli, Sacai, Chloe, Celine, Dior, Balenciaga, and Jill Sander and was spotted on the runway for the couture shows for Valentino, Chanel, Armani Prive, Dior, and Giambattista Valli. Definitely a top newcomer !!! Although she wasn't that interested in modelling when she was first scouted at the age of 16, she can't deny her talent and her success... Spotted in the Zara Campaign and recently being photographed by Steven Meisel for Prada Spring/Summer 2015 Campaign she still stays very down to earth stating that she feels more comfortable behind the camera then in front ....

XOXO

Golden boys

Creative director of Chanel make-up, Peter Philips rocks ! This Belgian (yep! ) guy, really impressed designer Karl Lagerfeld when he worked with him for the first time.   I met him twice in Antwerp before he got famous and he was really nice and friendly . Described by Susie Rushton from "The Independent" as a softly-spoken Belgian with dark  blond hair and a calm demeanour, it seems that he is still the same nice person.  Listen to his zen like voice .......

Philips, a graduate from our prestigious Antwerp Academy, abandoned fashion design to take up a career in make-up.  He is exceptional creative and has an amazing modern approach ( he used feathers, pearls, fabrics, temporary tattoos,  ......) He wants to offer a nice palette, nice tools for women to use ( rouge coco). Yeah, that's why we love Chanel's golden boy !

Another golden boy, fantastic talent, Stan Shaffer, a contemporary American fashion and art photographer whom shot for Vogue, Victoria Secret ... Last year he passed away after a cardiac arrest only months before his book " You should have been with me" was to have been released. Amazing book by an amazing artist ! Definitely on my wishlist !

Have a happy Halloween weekend !!! xoxo
