I feel really sorry for not making it  into the "PLAIN SPACE" exhibition of the work of  architect John Pawson at the design Museum in London (ended 30-01), but luckily I found this short film ( and I will buy the book) :

I love John Pawson's minimalist approach to interiors (proved by the fact that my mom once asked when my furniture is gonna arrive .. ? ) and I really share his love for white.... He is the one who said : " There are 50 different color shades of white and you could probably only see them in an empty room ". I use this quote over and over again, everytime somebody argues with me about "white ". Yes, white is a color.

John Pawson doesn't like "distractions". But "simple" doesn't  mean "soulles". With these candids ( from Livingetc magazine) you can sneek into the Pawson's home from a decorative point of view ....Beautifull spaces, relaxing atmospheres, .... but still wondering : does he really "live" here .... ?

How to travel in style ?  British Vogue's  (februari 2011) editorial, "in transit" shows you seriously stylish travellers, so no bag-lady style here ....buongiorno hot accessories !  

And then there's the amazing fashion hero Anna Dello Russo teaching us how to pack (Don't you just   hate packing ? ) when travelling around the world as a fashion victim ( and discovering she's wearing sweatpants on the airplane !! ) It's certain that Anna is never ever gonna travel as a backpacker because how on earth could she ever cut down all her wordly wardrobe possessions to 3 shirts and 2 pants ? ....Not  

Since her greatest fear is to be underdressed....( hope she's not wearing those minniemouse-ears in the airplane....just wondering, do you have to take them off at airportsecurity ? )

Opening nights

Quite a night thursday...
The party was in full swing at the launch of "SOHO gallery " when we arrived last night. Beautifull , nicely designed store filled with trendy brands and lots of people. We were totally smitten with the accessories....

Soho gallery, a hot new shopping hangout (Wolvertemsesteenweg 126, 1850 Grimbergen)

Back downtown Antwerp for the (re)launch of Thami Sabi's "MOGADOR ZUID", (Graaf van Egmondstraat 57, 2000 Antwerpen) Antwerp's newest cocktail bar where we entered a full crowded house with a good ambiance and where everybody was  hovered around the DJ's booth. Check out this chic new party destination in the heart of Antwerp's South. It's back to red after Mogador's interior makeover :
