This house is Inhabited

I went to American photographer, Virginia Mayo's beautifull exhibition "This house is Inhabited". 

Black and white photographs with a delicate beauty of "Doel",a once-thriving port town in Belgium. Now deserted and set to ruin, they inevitably foreshadow a post-apocalyptic future. Very serene photographs(think atmospheric still-lifes with a postcard feel) from this ghost town inhabited by a few lonely souls who stubbornly refuse to leave or to take comfortable apartments elsewhere.  And very important: this warm, lovely photographer creates affordable art, so visit the exhibit at 'T Stad Leest" , 16 Steenhouwersvest, Antwerp(till july) Don't miss !
