I need a new bike.  My LA beachbike and Antwerp don't really go together.  So I was looking for a trendy citybike . My conclusion:  the choices are endless ! Jump on your fashionable citybike because your bike is the latest fashion accessory. Cycling grows ever more popular. Lots of designers are teaming up with bikemakers to create a new fashionable bike ( like Acne with Italy's Bianchi...) , there are Chanel bikes, Fendi bikes,.........and there's my empty wallet .

Create a nice pedal-pushing look, but I swear it's a challenge to look good while riding a bike. 

Some practical tips : Wear leggings instead of tights (to protect your lady bits) , wear lose skirts that you can slide under your bum instead of a pencil skirt,  (to protect your knees from injuries because they will feel like being glued together), put on sunglasses (to protect your make-up from teary eyes and prevent you from looking like a panda when you arrive at your destination), tie your hair back for riding (to protect it from sticking onto your lipgloss and looking  like you're having a hairgrowing problem).

Search for the perfect match for your skin tone , like warm blushy undertones.  Think clean, minimalist looks in sheer materials.  Beware of looking like a walking reincarnation of yourself.....

Interior designer, Bea Mombaert's Bed & Breakfast,  was the stunning location for her birthdayparty last night. Her intimate Bed&Breakfast in the heart of Knokke, furnished and decorated by her brands "Items" and "Vintage Items"  was the place to be on saturdaynight. (Items boutique-289 Kustlaan-8300 Knokke Heist), so no excuse, we had to head to the Belgian seaside by night ...

We had a blast because it was a cool party with nice, artistic people, cheered up by the rockband "MAKEMAKE".

The crowd was chatting and dancing while being surrounded by fantastic furniture and art .... how could you not enjoy this ?

Rodarte rocks again

Yes, more spring feeling coming into town ( it's raining outside, but still .....) !

The American brand "Rodarte", founded by Kate and Laura Mulleavy, presented their spring 2011 collection with this wonderfull shortfilm directed by Todd Cole, starring Hollywood latest darling Elle Fanning ( no joke but this girl is only 12 ! Lock the doors !!!!!!!).  " The curve of forgotten things" is a nice piece of art with beautifull settings and nice music from Deerhunter and of course the fab clothes from Rodarte.






Their dazzling costume designs can be seen in "Black Swan" ( Darren Arondsky) and in their upcoming ( februari 2012) west coast exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Los Angeles , hm, maybe a good excuse for a trip to LA , anyone ?

Give me some spring

Yes, I've been so busy.....
I am not happy with this weather ! I wanna get rid of my winterstuff  ! I could really need some spring perfume, spring happiness, spring cocktails , spring kisses......

Luckily I found this fab, intriguing short film ( shot in Cuba) directed by Stephanie di Giusto for Vanessa Bruno starring Lou Doillon and Jessica Joffe.

Our striking Cesar Casier "Ceesie", Belgian 22 year old hottie (and blogger) is doing great in international lala fashionland ! After a fantastic editorial season he's one of the favorite faces of the moment and one of the sexiest male models ....

Everything started when his mom showed some pictures of him to a scout from "Dominique models" in Belgium. When asked to name 5 people he would love to meet for work or work with, he answered: Madonna, Nicole Richie, Daria Werbowy, Inez Van Lamsweerde and Carine Roitfield .... His favorite brands: Balmain, Tom Ford, Balenciaga .... ( yeah,  I like him even more) Sounds very fashionable to me !  No wonder he's called the next 'It-boy"....
